Our Care

Autism

We offer comprehensive evaluations and individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with Autism focusing on daily living, social, and organizational skills. We also provide psychoeducation, school consultation/advocacy, and work with parents to provide a roadmap on how to plan for their child’s future.

ADHD/Disruptive Behavior

We conduct comprehensive evaluations that help us identify individuals presenting with distractibility, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and executive functioning difficulties, as well as those with behavioral challenges. We also provide evidence-based behavioral interventions to help improve behavior at home and school.

Parent Child Interaction Therapy

Our clinicians are certified in providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for young children with emotional and behavioral difficulties. PCIT is an evidence-based treatment that focuses on improving the parent-child relationship, increasing child compliance, and reducing problem behaviors. We also provide Parent Management Training (PMT) for families with children above the age of 7.

Anxiety Treatment

Our comprehensive evaluation helps us better understand an individual’s symptom presentation and provides a roadmap for treatment, which we provide at Sunfield Center. We offer evidence-based treatment from a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach that involves teaching coping strategies to manage symptoms of anxiety.

Parent Support Group

We offer parent support in a group format. This program is suited for caregivers of children (ages 6 and younger) who have been diagnosed with autism or have social communication related concerns.

Organizational Skills Treatment

Many children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with ADHD and ASD present with executive functioning difficulties. Our organizational skills treatment helps school-age youth and young adults improve their time management and planning skills.
