Advanced Clinical Practicum
Sunfield Center’s practicum training program is designed for advanced doctoral graduate students (second year and above) in clinical and school psychology programs as well as for social work students. This year-long training program focuses on the delivery of evidence based interventions and gold standard evaluations of children, adolescents, adults and their families presenting with Autism, ADHD, Disruptive Behavior Disorders, Anxiety and Selective Mutism in an outpatient setting. APA Accredited Predoctoral Psychology Internship
Sunfield Center is a member of the Mid-Michigan Psychology Internship Consortium (MMPIC). We provide an Internship in Health Service Psychology with a focus on child and adolescent psychology. Our internship is a part of the APPIC Internship Matching Program. Other MMPIC internship sites include: The University of Michigan, Division of Pediatric Psychology and Thriving Minds. Our mission is to train scientist-scholar-practitioners who conceptualize their work within an ecological framework.
We accept applicants from school and clinical psychology doctoral programs, with preference given to interns from accredited programs. Postdoctoral Training
The postdoctoral fellowship at Sunfield Center provides an opportunity for intensive training in the areas of ASD, ADHD and Disruptive Behavior Disorders as well as Anxiety and Selective Mutism. This experience allows postdocs to develop specialized competencies while receiving supervised training in order to attain licensure.
