More Than Words – A Hanen Program for Parents of Children with ASD and/or Social Communication Difficulties

The More Than Words program is a research-informed parent-group intervention developed by the Hanen Center in Canada specifically for parents of children ages five and under diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or social communication difficulties.

The goal of the program is to provide parents with appropriate tools and strategies to support and improve their child’s communication including social skills, reciprocal interactions and receptive language.

This Winter, Sunfield Center will be offering a More Than Words group.
