We are happy to announce that Sunfield Center in collaboration with the University of Michigan School of Kinesiology is offering an Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-Second Edition (ADOS-2) Clinical Review Workshop in April 2016.
Sunfield Center is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Sunfield Center maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Sunfield Center designates the following CEs for this training:

The Sunfield Center ADOS-2 Clinical Review Workshop of Modules 3-4 is designed for individuals who have already attended an ADOS-2 Clinical Training (Modules 1-4), who are interested in further practice and review. Learning objectives include: observe the administration of ADOS-2, discuss and further practice and refine coding of the ADOS-2, practice report writing for the ADOS-2, practice administration of the ADOS-2, refine assessment of individuals to rule out autism.
Trainers will be providing the workshop through a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, opportunity to practice, scoring discussions and administration of the instrument.
The ADOS-2 is a semi-structured, standardized assessment instrument that allows us to accurately assess and diagnose autism and pervasive developmental disorders in individuals suspected of having autism. The ADOS-2 consists of various activities that provide interesting, standard contexts in which interaction can occur, thus allowing for observation of social and communicative behavior. The ADOS-2 can be used with individuals across ages, developmental levels, and language skills.
Participants must have completed the ADOS-2 (Module 1-4) Clinical Workshop prior to registering for the ADOS-2 Clinical Review Workshop of Modules 3 & 4.

Note, that prior to attending the ADOS-2 Clinical Review Workshop of Modules 3 & 4 you must first attend the ADOS-2 Modules 1-4 training.
